Weisz’s ‘Clock’ strikes Brittany Snow
Posted by Audrey • On September 11, 2008 • In Categories: News, Projects

Brittany Snow will star in Senator Entertainment’s vidgame adaptation “Clock Tower,” with Martin Weisz directing the production, which begins in November in Los Angeles.

Story centers on a troubled psychiatric patient who witnessed her parents die and is constantly plagued by religious imagery.

Senator is financing, with CEO Marco Weber and production head Vanessa Coifman producing.

Snow most recently starred in Screen Gems’ “Prom Night” and the indie “Finding Amanda.” She recently shot “Black Water Transit” and “The Vicious Kind.”

Brittany Snow near ‘Breaking’ point
Posted by Audrey • On September 11, 2008 • In Categories: News, Projects

“Prom Night” actress Brittany Snow is in negotiations to star in Myriad Pictures’ new thriller, “Breaking the Girl.”

Jamie Babbit’s sexually charged film follows Sara Ryan, a betrayed co-ed who befriends a fellow student with a nemesis of her own. The pair plot to kill each others’ enemies, but Ryan discovers all is not what it seems.

Mark Distefano and Guinevere Turner wrote the original screenplay. Babbit (”But I’m a Cheerleader”) begins principal photography in Vancouver this November.

Myriad is not yet handling presales on the film, but will be presenting the world premiere of Bruno Barreto’s “Last Stop 174″ at the Toronto International Film Festival this Saturday.
